Ellogon goes LGPL!

January 1, 2004 - Ellogon adopts an open source license - LGPL.

Responding to demands from many Ellogon users, we have decided to release Ellogon under a license that offers greater flexibility to Ellogon users. All Ellogon releases (even releases released before 1/1/2004) are now assumed to be under LGPL. Users that have signed a license agreement with NCSR "Demokritos" can either apply the terms of the signed agreement or LGPL, at will. Please note that LGPL practically allows any use of Ellogon, including use in commercial applications, where the previous license allowed only uses associated with research or educational purposes.
